"A Day With My Self", Norman Bedard’s
follow-up to "Wonderful", was released
physically and digitally on this day in 2010
just in time for summer!
Packed with 4 different versions (for a
total of 5 tracks), including an exciting
dance remix by Mike Waring from the British
electronic band Kiss The Beauty (KTB), it
made for a light, sunny, musically diverse
single.
Norman Iceberg's "1+1=2", originally
recorded in the 1990s at Men Without
Hats’ home studio, and remastered in
2010, was also released on this day.
To mark the 5th anniversary of Norman's
single "A Day With My Self", we will be
launching a new giveaway to win free copies
of the CD! More on this in a few
days…

Norman’s single "Wonderful" was
released on March 2nd 2010.
With "Wonderful", Norman invited us to
“start a new beginning” on a
warm, serene sonic journey.
Available on CD and digitally, this new
release featured three exclusive tracks
(including fabulous remixes by Mike Waring
and Zak B):
1) Wonderful (Radio Edit)
2) Wonderful (Kiss The Beauty Remix)
3) Space (Zak B Remix)
Norman Iceberg's "Crawl (Alternate
Version)", originally recorded in the 1990s
at Men Without Hats’ home studio, was
also released on this day.

Originally released twenty-five years ago in
1989 on the Karisma/TGO labels with
distribution by Unidisc, "Kiss the Beauty"
made lots of happy feet move on the dance
floor.
Produced by Roberto Deus and Martin H. Klein
with Tony Green as producer in charge,
Norman’s new release (under his
then-stage name Norman Iceberg) was also
accompanied by a fun, groovy music video
directed by acclaimed film director Erik
Canuel, and a front cover photograph by
Ricardo Gaudi.
And starting in 2010, Kiss The Beauty was
then also the name of a brand new British
electronic band (that's right...a band named
Kiss The Beauty!), lead by Mike Waring
(former Bristol radio DJ, producer and
keyboard player) and Shannon Kait. Mike went
on to produce several fabulous remixes of
some of Norman’s more recent songs
including the fantastic "Wonderful (Kiss The
Beauty Remix)" and "Space (Kiss The Beauty
Spread Mix)".
"We Act" was officially released on CD on
this day (September 15th) in 2009. Also
issued the previous July digitally for
download, Norman's CD (released under his
former stage name Norman Iceberg) featured a
newly remastered version of the original
1990 mix.
"Who am I? Who am I really? I wanna
feel, I wanna feel real," sang Norman
on "We Act". Its meaningful lyrics about the
search for our true identity in today's
world (where we sometimes feel like we have
to be what other people expect us to be in
order to be accepted), predated Norman's
return to his real birth name Norman
Bedard.
